Project 56 was resprayed this week. Looks much better the second time around.

making some progress

The car came out of the booth yesterday, with one minor problem. The car was "sprayed too wet" meaning not enough air with the paint, so they will have to repaint it. Oh well, I have waited a year, what's another couple of weeks.


The seats are looking real good, white leather, blue piping, with blue suede leather.

So the other day me and a few others decided to do some spirited driving down 169. The min horsepower was 505 in the 6 sports cars...Long story short I was pulled over for impeding traffic of all things.

Elite Track Team....Sickboy WTF?

Ok so I have been busy working, trying to you know, make as much as Bill Clinton does giving speeches.

So come to find out that Sickboy has started a new "elite" track club. He tried to make it a subsidiary of the Loon State Cyclist. That idea got vetoed before it even got to me...and contrary to what you think I have a vote and so does Franz...think we don't?



Last weekend Stoker and I threw down at the Bunny's 5K. Good times were had by all.

The Taint hijacked the Tandem last weekend to do some top secret training. It's not like stoker and I use it other than one weekend a year.

Went to the Iowa game this weekend....they got their asses handed to them. It will probably be a coin flip on the Gophers - Hawkeye game in November.

Chequamegon

I blew half way through the race, so it was a very long 2.5 hours for Stoker. The highlight was the sprint for the podium. We got caught and passed with a 1/2 mile to go in the race to put us in fourth. We sucked it up and sprinted for the 3rd and final podium spot.

One other tidbit, on the first section of birkie, the only single bike to get in our way and cause us to hit our brakes.....yep you guessed it...SICKBOY. You can't make it up.

Sure glad I am trying to sell a house right now...

Track Racing

I dropped my drawers for Cullen's wife

She was the official marker for the St Croix Tri this weekend. I only decided to do it the day before after Cullen said I should do it. When Jimmer talks people listen.
I get there and Jim says there is a monster 6% mile long climb in the bike portion...I am thinking, I ain't scared.

I went off in wave two which started 3 minutes behind wave one. I started catching swimmers 2 minutes into my swim and spent the rest of the 1/3 mile swim swimming around, over, and through the slower swimmers from wave one. I ended up 3rd in my wave and with the 7th fastest swim of the day.

Then off to the Bike, it was only ten miles, so I stayed on it pretty good, when I got to the climb, I had to put it in my 39-23 but I passed about 5 guys and no one came by me. I ended up with the 8th fastest bike split of the day, which I was pleased with given the monster climb. It will make seeley's seem easy in two weeks.

Then it was off to the 4 mile run...I haven't been running so it was a survival run. I ended up with the 134th fastest run. At the end of the day, I was 23rd out of 275 male finishers and 5th in my age group.

One more tri next weekend as a tune-up for Chequamegon.

Hanz or Fronz won the cat 3 Keirin, think he didn't?

Skibby and Donimator were 4th in the state madison, but they did beat and lap Super Rookie's team, which was sweet considering that Super called us a Tier 3 madison team just before the race. I guess that makes Super Rookie a tier one club madison racer.

The housing market won't get any better until the media stops hyping how bad it is everyday. The Feds need to drop interest rates. This will help people that are in foreclosure or on the brink, hopefully refinance and afford to keep their home if they can even get a loan with all the new rules in getting a loan. I don't think the banks want any more foreclosed houses. Think they don't?

Alford Plea.....

So Ms. Claypole decides to enter an Alford Plea 1 hour before trial is set to begin.

In this plea, the defendant does not admit the act and asserts innocence, but admits that sufficient evidence exists with which the prosecution could likely convince a judge or jury to find the defendant guilty.

Where is my 1600 bucks for damage? I guess I have to wait for the restitution hearing...the saga continues.

Washington County...here we come

So Friday the Washington County Attorney called me and said he is calling me to the stand today for the case about my boat. This is a jury trial today scheduled for 12:45PM. This is my third subpoena and its starting to be a pain in my ass.

On a second note. Stoker went down hard yesterday at the elite nationals. We are now listed as day to day as to whether we are going to race the mountain tandem at Black Dog this Wednesday. I am sure strats is taking very good care of him.

So whats up with everyone quiting their blogs?

Thanks to Stoker for letting me ride the San Lorenzo tonight, it was good enough for an 11th place finish in the 1-2-3 race at Dakota County. I guess when you are on a team, you have extra bikes to loan to the captain.

Thanks to Smithers for club versus team link which allowed my blog to have 350+ hits today. Thats a record. Also thanks to Smithers for stepping up and trying to help me out with my bike situation. Smithers is good shit.

This has been on the market Just a bunch of unqualified buyers looking at it, thinking they can get a good deal because the countless stories like this in the media. I am blaming some of the housing market on the media, becuase they talk about it every frickin day.
